J.B. PRIESTLEY The novel “Bright Day” p.219 Making money fast and easy without learning a trade… They don`t care about anything so long as they can grab a lump of brass and then be off… I never met a man who had an expert knowledge of things or the making of films who hadn`t a decent and honest core to his character; and I never met a man who thought first of money and profits and cared nothing about the things he dealt in who seemed to be a satisfactory human being. In my own trade of making motion pictures, which attracted the easy-money boys almost from the first, the difference between these two types was most marked; and all that was rotten in the industry came from those who went into it not because they were fascinated by film-making but because they were attracted by the possibility of huge quick profits. Of course the film-makers liked making money too – most of us do when we live in a society in which money opens so many doors and windows – but it was the films themselves that had started them off and had kept them hard at work; and there is the vital difference. Translate this abstract into Russian. Attach your work. Express your opinion in good English about the idea of this passage ( approximately 10 sentences). Attach it too, please. Их ничто не беспокоит, но лишь до тех пор, пока не появится возможность сорвать жирный куш и смыться... Я никогда ранее не встречал человека, который, обладая знаниями сродни эксперту в создании фильмов,обладал бы настолько твёрдым стержнем; и я никогда не встречал человека, который, прежде всего, думал о деньгах и прибыли и не беспокоился о вещах, с которыми он сталкивается, и который казался приятным человеком.В моём собственном ремесле создания кинофильмов, которое привлекало любителей лёгкой наживы, разница между этими двумя типами наиболее выражена; всё то гнилое в индустрии,пришло именно от тех, кто стал её частью, не потому что они были заворожены самим процессом съемок фильмов, а потому, что они были привлечены возможностью быстрых доходов.Конечно же, режиссерам тоже нравилось зарабатывать -как и всем нам в этом обществе,где деньги открывают перед нами так много возможностей - но это были те самые фильмы, которые открыли им широкий горизонт и которые заставляли их упорно работать – это и является существенным различием. 2.I believe,that the main theme of this passage is about choice.Choice in your life priorities.Of course,there are a lot of people,described in the text-easy-money boys.But I am sure,that you should choose something,that you are really interested in,something that you can devote your life to.In our life it is very important to find a well-paid job,but I think,that it is all about choice.Choose the job,which suites your talents and improve yourself to achieve more in your chosen job and success will be around the corner,waiting for you) 0 12 Лена • 19:57, 08.03.2016 [Материал] Gamid! И так же не встречал такого, чтобы человек, который думая по первой о прибыли и, в то же время, не беспокоился о качестве, хотя бы казался приятным.В моём кинематографическом ремесле, которое привлекалопадких до легких денег людей, разница между этими двумя "типами" - разительна; вся та гниль, что пришла в индустрию, была принесена именно теми, кто вошел в нее, не потому что был очарован самим процессом съемок, а потому, что был привлечен перспективой огромной и быстрой прибыли. It does a lot of harm for the development of the industries. If a man think only about his own profits, so how can he make a high-qulity production? I my opinion, only if you like what you make you can score a success. You should enjoy it. You should really want to devote your time, force and life into it. Их ничего не волнует до тех пор, пока не появится возможность урвать кусок и смыться... Я никогда не видел, чтобы люди-профессионалы в киноискусстве не имели доброго и честного сердца; никогда не встречал, чтобы человека, который в первую очередь думает о деньгах и собственной прибыли, а не о качестве предлагаемой им продукции, считали образцом лучшего в человечестве. В моем собственном кинобизнесе, который привлекает в первую очередь падких до легкого заработка людей, разница между названными двумя типа наиболее ярко выражена; и вся эта гниль пришла в данную индустрию от тех, кого очаровало не само кино, но возможность быстро и легко заработать. We shouldn't choose work only because of opportunity to get fast and easy profit. We should be interested in our work, then we can do it qualitatively. Moreover, when you are engaged in that is pleasant to you, you don't do work with a great effort and it doesn't bother you. If you do what you love, you will automatically end up loving what you do.
