New look for an old city
  The second largest city of Italy changing its face. The heart of this update is the Isola district. Two plant-covered towers, by architect Stefano Boeri will stand out in this new skyline. The idea behind this skyward forest is very simple: return to the nature the space of urbanization. The vegetation covering both towers is equivalent to  a 20,000sqm forest. Sustainable residential buildings contribute to the construction of the microclimate, producting humidity, absorbing CO2 and dust particles, and giving oxygen in return. It is also home to various birds, butterflies and other insects. Library Degli Albery (Library of trees) is a Park, consisting of separate vegital pavillions that can be used for various purposes such of sport and cultural event.
  After the project is completed in 2018, the library of thees will be the largest pedestrian area in Milan. The seeds of Milan"s green revolution have spread to other parts of the city as well, is one of the Brera district, group of architects and engineers have turned the rooftop of their studio in a beautiful garden. They grow for themselvess tomatoes and cucumbers, and conduct frequent.
